I lived in north SB in a house a couple of streets behind the Ralphs supermarket close to Cal State. This was back in 2010-2015. The house was built in the mid 1980s and was by no means creepy looking. However, I started hearing the sound of what sounded like bare adult feet walk across the kitchen or hallway when I was home, and nobody else was there.
Then one night my bed caved in abruptly on one side as if a large person laid next to me, but I was the only one in the bed. I quickly turned the lights on to see nobody there as expected. Another night my girlfriend came in the house after she got off work and told me she saw a shadow of a man rise from the ground in the street in front of my house then walk and disappear by fading away.
I didn't put much thought into her story because I thought she was just tired and seeing things. Several months later I was in my garage on my day off at about 2 a. M. I had the large garage door open to enjoy the cool air outside, and I was sitting in a chair staring outside. Nobody was outside at this time, and there were no cars going by. Suddenly and very unexpectedly I saw a perfect shadow outline of a man moving on the street and up into my neighbor's driveway across the street.

I could see perfectly because the street light was right next to the house where the shadow was. The shadow then stood against the neighbor's roll-up driveway door for about 10 seconds and seemed to have just gone through the door and disappeared! It scared me pretty bad.

About a year later I had a friend over, and we were hanging out in the garage late at night. Once again that was around 2 a. M. Or so. As my friend was talking to me, I started to see this shadow again. I told my friend to look, and he stopped talking and looked at the shadow in the street moving. It did the exact same thing. It went up on the same neighbor's driveway and stood against the garage door for approximately 10 seconds, and then it penetrated the door and disappeared. My friend did not say anything the entire time we were watching it.
I asked ''did you see it?'' He said in a nervous voice ''yes, uh what was that''. I told him I was not sure what that was, but I saw it before. I moved away from there about 6 months later. It just does not make sense that my house, or the neighborhood would be haunted there. Submitted by anonymous
