We lived on Victoria Street in San Bernardino house connected to a house on Terrace Road that has been there since the 1800s. We always had ghost visitors so often that we began to talk to them. We were not worry about doors opening, windows opening, or peanut butter cookie smells. Our house was purchased new in 1965, so it had to be the neighbors. It was almost strange to us not to have something happen on a daily basis. The guy who lived in the old house was the coroner for all of San Bernardino. I always wondered if he had hitchhikers from work.

There was an old cemetery 1/4 mile north of St. Bernadine's on Waterman Avenue. I went there as a kid, and the graves were desecrated sinking. Not sure why but left fast.

Comment by Karen: If that's the big cemetery on Highland and Waterman, where Randy Rhodes' grave is, it's like a crypt. My ex-husband went up there with a friend of his late at night and saw a flaming cross in front of it. They both came back pale and scared and said that it had turned blue before fading away completely. We used to see a lot of weird stuff at the old Pioneer Cemetery too (on Sierra Way and 8th Street). My brother-in-law was found dead in Seccombe Park and people kept seeing him walk through there for over a year after he died.
