As the years passed there were numerous encounters that would follow. An old woman would suddenly appear. She had no feet and would glide towards you and then disappear. Doors would be locked and not open. Then they would just open by themselves when scrambling for what might have been the wrong key. Dishes would be rattling in the dark empty kitchen. Coffee cups were also slamming down the kitchen table. I finally grew up and left for military

service while my parents stayed.
One night while on weekend leave my wife, two toddler children, and I arrived to my parents' house at about 2:00am.

Again we began to settle in for the night when suddenly footsteps began coming towards us from the back of the house. At first I thought it might be my mother, but after so many years of living there you just know everybody's steps on that old wooden floor, so we just lay there staring into the dark at the closed door. As the steps reached us, they stopped. Then door opened, and nobody was there just dark space. To say the least, my wife was creeped
