At he time there was no one in the garden. When we reviewed the pictures the next day my friend noticed what appeared to be someone sitting down behind me. I zoomed in on the person in the picture and as the image got bigger we both started to get chills.
It was the apparition of a monk sitting down looking at us! You could make out his garments and his tonsure. He was just sitting there checking us out! I can't wait to get back there and take

more pics and maybe try to get some EVP's!.

I've lived in sjb for most of my life and have always heard about the mission being haunted and you would think because of it's rich history and whatnot. It was one late night about three years ago, myself and my buddy Lucas were riding bikes around town around 1 in the morning because we were way bored.
We decided to ride by the mission. Bad idea. As soon as we came up along right next to the bell where the stone walk way is we heard a loud female scream in our ears that came from the garden area of the mission ( which is actually inside the mission).
At the same time it seemed to be pretty distant. Couldn't understand why it sounded loud and distant at the same time, but it happened. We both heard the same scream and we freaked out and took off like a bat out of you know what.
