My dad was driving home one night on Twin Oaks Valley road. There is this mortuary across the post office near the intersection of Twin Oaks and Richmar. Of course you would think oh, of course it's haunted.
They keep dead people here! Well it definitely was. So my dad was driving southbound towards the bridge over mission Rd. And there was what appeared to be a shady man jaywalking from the mortuary to the post office.
My dad didn't want to hit him so he swerved into the next lane. When he looked back there was no one to be found. Maybe the man hid? But guess what? A family friend who lives in Santa Fe hills drives on the same route to the freeway on her way to work.|
She described to us the exact same experience and we never even told her about ours! Coincidence?.

I remember as a young adult living in some old navy housing. Several strange things occurred. One night a roommate and I were doing the dinner thing in the small kitchen. We both saw a mist come out of a cupboard. It hung there and floated back into the cupboard. This along with windows deciding whenever to open and close. After I moved out, my friend said he was taking a bath ( no shower) and a plugged in hair dryer ( men used hair dryers then) fell for no reason off the sink and into the bath with him. He should have fried. He didn't. He became very Christian after that experience. I live in lake San Marcos next to the lake on my third divorce. I fell asleep on lounge chair. I woke up to my leg and blanket been violently tugged. This is why I looked into haunting in San Marcos at 3:30 am this morning. Nice to know I am not the only one to have an experience but not a good feeling.
