Me and my girlfriend and a couple of friends went out past the riverbed. I was told to go up on the hills to see the lights of the city. After walking through the brush we got to the top of the hill and saw the lights and city of Santa Maria, and as I turned around deep into the distance I can see bull canyon and cars passing and than something else caught my eye. I couldn't make it out but it was a white flowing figure getting closer and closer

My girlfriend and our friends were freaked and started down the hill. I was too stunned and was trying to logically figure out what this

was. No dirt kicked up with it so it wasn't a car. It didn't look like the person or thing was running but flowing and getting closer, too fast for it to just be walking, and if it was someone wanting us to get off their property I was pretty sure they would've yelled.
I was thinking it was a flag, and we were so scared it just looked as if it were getting closer. Later learned there's a tomb stone there in the middle of that land and what
