In the summer of 1998 I took my daughter who was three years old at the time to Main Street in Seal Beach. I had bought her an ice cream at the ice cream shop on the northwest corner right across the street from the pier. It may have been called Mother's Ice cream Shop. We walked down Main Street about one or two stores past the first Irish bar to sit on a bench while she ate her ice cream. I had turned to look towards the pier and that's when I saw

a PIRATE!!
He was about six feet tall with black curly or wavy shoulder length hair, a beard, and mustache. He looked rugged and tough maybe in

his 40s. His clothes were not of this time. He looked straight ahead like in a daze with no expression. He kind of looked like Captain Morgan or a bigger version of Jack Sparrow. His clothes ruled out he was a bum. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and thought I know I'm not crazy. I was concerned and that he was headed towards us, and I wasn't sure what to do.
