Once my ex was running to the corner store, and the twins were crying and banging on the window for their mom, I heard a soothing ''shh'' which made them stop and turn to look.

Comment by Chad: While the twins were there every morning, they would go into the front room, which I didn't used to talk to a baby and tell it it's OK, and it's alright. We asked them who they speaking to and they said a crying baby. We asked if the mommy was there, and they said sometimes. With all the wildfires in the area the homeowner's house burnt in Santa Rosa, and I asked the property manager if she was gonna be wanting to move into this house. She said no; she wouldn't live here. The previous renters only stayed for couple of months, and I bet I know the reason.

I had submitted one ghost story, but this one is more of demon and souls that exited the earth one night. The night before my friend and I had noticed a bunch of cars coming and going starting around two in the morning, and some would park with lights on and come and go which was unusual on that street. We would hear a loud screeching sound like an old rusty gate being opened or a huge boulder being pushed across the pavement.
The second night of the cars coming it freaked me out as we heard the screeching once again, but this time there was a huge cloud of smoke flowing from the ground to the sky. In some areas the smoke went back down to the ground. Within the smoke we could see souls and demons. All the demons had horns, and both souls and demons wore crowns upon their heads. The strangest and scariest night of my night though I tried not to show in front of my lady friend.
This was happening at the end of September 2019. We told a couple of friends what we saw the next day, but before we got into details one said she had seen what looked like two giant wolves standing on side of the road, and they had bent down and jumped high into the sky. She was on her way to the store, and when she got there she asked a man standing outside looking up if he saw that, and he said ''oh, yeah''. I asked her if they looked like the wolf like creatures were made of smoke, and she said ''exactly!''.
