My grandmother sold her house because of ghosts. Lol the house was infested with bats (crawl on or swoop down at you in bed). Numerous priest came over and tried to rid whatever was inside. They would have us pray all day and night.
One even brought over a very large Virgin Mary statue to borrow for a month. When the church came to pick her up she was crying. One of the nuns said she was sad to leave, however my grandmother (raised with nuns) took

it as a sign and put the house up immediately.
The house, Creek Valley and hills are haunted. It sits over two gold mines (not filled in or roped off).

If unaware of the mines walking in the woods could be deadly. The police came up numerous times to search property for a dead man hanging from a tree.
He was dirty and was dressed like a miner (numerous grandchildren saw him). You would trace back to the same tree he was hanging in but he was gone. We would be playing outside (wooded area) and hear the footsteps and tree branches breaking and that was our sign to book it back to the house.
