We lived on the dead end of Wintercrest lane. For a few years I am convinced there was a demonic presence there. My wife and daughter had terrible nightmares. We had no neighbors that could see in our windows, so during the day we had the blinds and curtains open. At night, however, it felt super creepy, and we always felt compelled to close the blinds, etc. You had a constant sense of being watched especially outside, and it intensified by 100 % at night.
One night I went outside to take the trash out, and I heard the sound of someone running up the asphalt driveway towards me. It was loud as hell. It just stopped pretty much where I was, and I had a sense of dread. My daughter refused to look outside at night and said she often thought someone was looking in her window even though it was about 8 feet off the ground. My wife also experienced suicidal thoughts. As soon as we moved away, none of the nightmares or bad thoughts continued.

My boyfriend and I were leaving the Chevron on Ponderosa Road and Highway 50. As we were pulling out of the parking lot, a sheer like light went across the windshield. I saw it like hit the windshield on the driver side. It kind of looked like a napkin that was opened up all the way and just slid across the windshield. It was kind of see through and very sheer. It happened so quickly. I remember going ''whoa what was that?'' Then when he said he saw something also it was just really weird.
My boyfriend was sitting in the driver's seat, and at the same time we both said ''whoa what was that?'', and we backed up and looked to see if there was something behind us in the parking lot because it was almost like we hit it, or it just went passed through the windshield, and we didn't know what it was. It had to have been a ghost or something. Has anybody else had any of these sightings near that area? Ponderosa Road and Highway 50 in Shingle Springs, California. Submitted by Tammy
