My first house in Simi Valley was on Pope St across from an elementary and the adult school nearby. I purchased the home for my family but it became a nightmare. One night as I sleep with my 6 month baby and husband I heard footsteps and movement in the kitchen. At first I thought someone broke into the home but I got chills and I felt a presence not from human. I woke up my husband, he got up to check but saw nothing. I was terrified after that night, specially since my husband did not believe me.

As weeks passed by I had a live in babysitter who stayed by her self when I was on vacation. And one night I got a call from her that she couldn't stay in the home anymore because the night before she woke up seeing fire in the room and heard screams and laughter. As she ran to turn on the lights everything stop.

After that we rented the home but sold it soon, too much spirit activity.

Comment by Sarah: The city of Simi Valley has a really rich history. I'd look into land connections... What was there before? How old is the house itself? Any history of fire in it or on the land? Look into the location of Chumash grounds on or nearby it too. I'm curious. Let me know what you find.
Comment by anonymous: Hi Sarah I can t find anything on the house. I just remember the previews owners were a bit off, the son was a rocker, their grandma looked like she would do palm reading and they were the only owners of the home before I bought it.
