I grew up in a house on Whitcomb ave. from 1979 to 1997. My mom used to tell me that our house was ''settling'' to get me to go to sleep at night because even long after the whole family had gone to bed I could usually hear items being bumped or tapped out in the kitchen and living room, and the floors would sometimes creak like someone was walking around.

Things in my own room would sometimes fall off of shelves in the middle of the night. Again mom claimed this was normal that I must have just left my toys placed really precariously and they just slipped and fell.

I did once see something odd happen in that house but it was when I was about six years old. My cousin and I were trying to learn how to make card castles. We just couldn't get the cards to balance.
Finally we were just putting the last card down on top of the first structure that we actually managed to build. As soon as I let go of the card it floated up about six inches in the air waved around by itself and then slammed back down on top of the card castle.
The structure somehow didn't collapse. My cousin and I screamed and ran to our mothers in the other room but they both didn't believe us. I finally got my mom to admit that the house was probably haunted after we had all moved out.
