I grew up in Simi Valley and our house is haunted! This city is full of activity we have never needed Halloween to see ghost our night mares as children were real. My sister and I saw the old burned up lady who often was frightening there was a little girl an Indian and one we called boy and some that were more ominous and dangerous they could move things shake beds and on several occasions tried to choke my sister.
On one occasion there was a howling disembodied voice .. Other times as we got older they would try to frighten us by throwing things we grew up with this and after a while demanded that they stop and flat out told them we were tired of what they were doing and to just stop! Our child hood monsters were real and when our cousin who is 19 years older then us asked what we knew about the spirits in the house keep in mind he moved out of state before we were born and this was a recent family reunion and our first time meeting him.

This house has never been owned by by any one but my parents it's the land and what was there before our time here and the one thing I do know is it was vile violent and it took the life of something that was innocent.

A couple years ago I lived in this house on Ashford Street. There was this man every night in a long black coat a hat and old time shoes. I couldn't see his face and every night he waved to me goodnight and if I didn't wave back he would come to the end of my bed and I would go under the blankets and cry.
