When I was young I lived in a house right by Legion Park on Lexington Avenue. Now I never used to believe in ghosts until my older sister had an imaginary friend who she played with in the corner. When my mom would ask her for help or to leave the area things would fly at her. This house was a big three-story house with an added-on basement.
One day I was walking up the stairs, (my room was on the third floor) and I heard walking behind me. I turned

thinking it was my mother, but no one was there. I ignored it, thinking it was nothing and kept walking. I was up in my room, and I heard more footsteps

approaching my bed. I turned again, now thinking my sisters were pulling a prank or something, and there was again nothing. Soon as I turned to look who was there, I felt something sit at the foot of my bed, and an indent was made as if someone was actually there. This is not the creepiest of the stories, however.
