The house that is being referred to in the previous post is Julia Weber's house. She was the daughter of Captain Weber (the founder of Stockton). It is a three- story house with a large workshop in the basement. It is a historical landmark that was moved to Micke Grove Park for preservation. Prior to that it had been managed by Moss & Craig Realty. A friend of mine kept her horses in the stable there and had access to the home where we regularly had small parties. Years later after we grew up and left town, the house was left unkempt as homeless people broke in and destroyed the beautiful Interior and garden that had been left in place since the late Weber family. What remained is in the process of being restored at mice grove park historical section. Submitted by Nicky

About 10 p.m. on November 2nd, 2021 I was driving north on I-5 in Stockton on a bridge which curved to my left. There was no traffic in Lane 1 (far right lane). I was in Lane 2 with a truck 8 car lengths ahead of me a car and in Lane 3 about 6 car lengths ahead of me. There was no traffic in Lane 4 and traffic behind me was far away. Suddenly a hooded figure ran from the right shoulder in front of me at a point where he should have collided with the car in Lane 3 but didn't. The figure was a solid black even in my headlights, and its feet were about 6 inches above the ground but still gave the appearance of running moving to the left. Then it disappeared.

One night between 4 and 5 a.m. on November 26th my boyfriend and I were driving down Buena Vista Avenue between Willow and Rose Streets going towards Fremont Avenue, and on left hand side I saw a lady who was dressed in pajama pants and a short robe with a hood. She was erratically waiving us down hood on head and with one hand holding her robe closed the other hand waiving. I saw her face but not familiar. I said to my boyfriend who was looking in the direction I was, ''did you see that?'' He said ''see what? That lady? I don't know if she needed help or what?'' Keep in mind, she was one color and bright but also dim at the same time grey maybe in color.
