Then a few seconds later I could hear footsteps of what sounded like cowboy boots stepping heavily down the hall towards my room. I was getting more and more anxious when the footsteps became louder.
I was about to call for my mom who was in the room next to mine when the footsteps stoppped at the door. I looked to the opening of my door to see a tall dark mass standing at the foot of my bed. I then covered my head with the blanket and started to pray

that it would leave.
About ten minutes later I looked and it was still there so I called over to wake my sister up and she couldn't see anything.

Then the mass walked out of the room and back down the hallway and then she could hear the footsteps as well...
Then we both called for our mother and then the footsteps stopped. After this night I would hear sounds of pounding at the front door on and off. I can also feel someone staring at me from time to time.
I always get these eerie feelings of dreadfulness when I walk into rooms or houses that I don't feel welcome in. I'm now 19 and these
