In the 1960's drag racing was the thing in Stockton. It has been reported that a girl died as a result of drag racing on the road in front of stagg High School one night. Since then, people have seen her.
They say she will thumb for a ride. She will tell you where she wants to go and by the time you get to her destination, she suddenly disappears!.

Supposedly, the b&m building next to the downtown cinema is haunted. Office workers who used to work in the building have seen office trinkets fly across the room in front of them, in addition to full body apparitions of women who used to work in the building back in the day.
The building is now vacant.
