that was in our kitchen cabinet door. It looked like an evil face with evil eyes. The priest asked me if this has been there before, and I said no. Quickly, we had the cabinets changed.
Twenty-five years later, we are still at the same house. No mysteries man in my dreams or shadowy figures, just a friendly visit from our loved ones who have passed, however.

I grew up in a blue duplex on South Odell Avenue in south Stockton. From as far as I can remember odd things would happen in that house. Late at night I would hear people walking outside and inside the house. I remember one night I traced the noise from the hallway to the living to the back yard. Every time I turned on the light the noise would move into the dark. My father woke up and was upset all the light was on. When I told him I heard people walking he told me not to be afraid and put me back into bed.

One hot summer day all the kids were playing in the front of the yard. My father was giving water to the ducks and chicken when he noticed that someone had crushed all the eggs with a large rock. He came to the front of the yard and started yelling at all the kids. My mother and neighbor informed him that none of the kids had gone to the chicken coop. He showed my mother the rock, and she pointed out that none of us could lift that rock. Later that day my father put a lock on the coop. The next morning he went to check on the chicken and saw that one of the hens had died. It looked like someone sat on the chicken and flatten it. My father took the chicken into the creek by the duplex and threw it into the creek.
My mother had a garden behind the chicken coop. Early one morning she was out in her garden watering the plants when she noticed little foot print in the wet mud. She thought it was one of us kids. When she came back into the house she told my father that one of us had stepped in her garden. My father pointed out that we were all still in bed. Then he went to look at the footprint. When he got back he informed my mother that none us had feet that small.
The scariest thing happened in that house happened to me when I was fifteen. It was around the first of November, and I just got home from middle school. My mother left me alone, so she could go pay the bills. The rest of the family was at work or school. I turned on the music in my bedroom very loud and began to clean the house as my mother had ordered. All of a sudden I got this feeling that the music was too loud. I walked from the living room to my bedroom to turn the music down. When I passed the bathroom I noticed a boy sitting in the bathtub. I looked at the boy for couple of second, and then I ran into my bedroom and turned off my music. I walked past the bathroom and did not see the boy anymore. I thought I was seeing things. After cleaning for a while I couldn't get the boy out of my mind, so I walked back to the bathroom and he was there again. He was looking at the wall and not at me. I noticed that he looked like a Native American boy. I stood there for a minute or two. I ran out of the house and went to stay with my neighbor until my sisters came home from school. I was too scare to tell my family about the ghost in the bathroom. I was so happy when the house my parent bought was done building, and we were given the OK to move in. We moved out January 10th, 2001. I lived in that house for the first fifteen years of my life.
