We rent this house on Humphrey st and there is always knocking noises and cabinets opening out of nowhere. One time our microwave moved from one counter to the next when no one was home.

Comment by Robert: I grew up on that street. There has always been creepy things on that street. I lived at the house right at the dead end from when the house was brand new until 1988-89. My mother's best friend died in a house on the street some time in the early 80s. Once the family moved out there have been stories that future residents would not stay long in the house. It was always for sale or rent. I think the address was in the 1200 block of Humphrey closer to the apartments. If you have any more questions, feel free to email me (rpierce916 at gmail. com).

Across the tracks in south Fairfield a small apartment building had a haunting for a short period. The spirit would ring decorative bells during the day and in the middle of the night would open and close the refrigerator repeatedly. The location was Ohio St.
