Sylmar is a hotbed of the unexplained. Most of the popular sites are nothing more than optical illusions and sheer desire to see the unexplained but you'll find (if you dig) enough questionable sightings and experiences that I would make Sylmar a stop in my paranormal investigations...

Last night I was with me friends and we went to this house on Polk St and my friend had a key so we went in and of course there was no lights and we went in all using our lighters and I had to go to the bathroom and my friend said it was upstairs I go to the bathroom, and there was a big mirror and I'm washing my hands I look down then I look back up and there was someone in the mirror it was a young girl and she looked mad I stared at her for one second and then I went running (almost flying) down the stairs and went to the car I was so scared I was crying and I couldn't stop so my friends knew I wasn't crazy but they looked up the house and it said a 19 year old girl killed herself.
