Back in 1996 my husband was stationed at the base with 3rd Tanks. We were new moving into the old Marine Palms. This strange occurrence happened three weeks after we moved in with our two sons and my two young nieces, and of course I was pregnant. It was around 3 am. down and her piggy tail was up in the air. I grabbed the girls and left my husband with my boys in the other room fast asleep. I ran to my neighbor across the street. Later that evening she woke me to show me the lights were flickering on and off. I asked the base chaplain the next day. He came and blessed the house. I felt kind of foolish, but a week later he found out through research that a military man came back after the Vietnam War and murdered himself
