While stationed in 29 Palms from 2003 - 2006 I lived in a housing unit with my wife. I have several things happen in that house. One night my wife was at work, and I was online talking to my girlfriend back home in NC. I told her I was home alone, and she could turn her web cam on, so I could see her. About 10 minutes she sat up real quickly and typed I thought you were home alone. I ensured her that I was, but then she told me that she just watched a man in white t-shirt pass through my hallway.
My web cam caught it all. Next story goes as follows. My wife woke me up one night scared as hell. She said someone was in our kitchen. The kitchen was below the bedroom, and we had an ironing board hanging from the closet door down there. It made a very distinctive sound when the door was opened. She said that was what she heard, so I grabbed my pistol and went room to room clearing the house. Nothing was touched, and no one was there.
My third story is my personal sighting. I was asleep and was lying in bed on my right side facing the nightstand. For no reason at all I woke up to see an elderly man dressed in typical old man church clothes beside me staring down at me. It took me a few seconds to process this, and then he made a sound as if he was sucking on his teeth. At that moment I jumped to my knees and punched him and in a flash he was gone. My wife woke up from this, and the room got a chill to it. I know what I saw was real. I'll never forget it. Shortly after I eas'ed and moved home. The hauntings followed me for about a year and then filtered away.
