I used to live next to the railroad tracks on Virginia Street for many years. When I first moved to the triplex I was a single mother with a newborn. At first life was great till I started hearing footsteps upstairs when no one was home. I would tell myself it was all in my head, but it only got worse. I started feeling like someone or something was watching me at night. One day I was sleeping with my baby and was woken up by hard breathing on the back of my neck. I did not want to turn around because I was all alone just me and my baby, so I started praying. A couple of minutes later the hard breathing behind me stopped. The next day I decided to get holy water and keep it next to every window and door. Three years passed and I got married and moved upstairs. The tenants upstairs had moved out because of health issues. They were an older couple.
My new husband and I never thought we would be moving out only five months later. The first month was great. Everything was perfect, not a care in the world, but that was about to change. One night my husband was sleeping our newborn in the living room when all of a sudden all the furniture was pushed to the right with him and my baby on the sofa. I knew it was back and stronger. For two weeks we would wake up at 3:03 am to something falling off the walls or just loud footsteps in the kitchen. One night I was sleeping by myself because my husband was in the living room trying to sleep my baby. I woke up, something was on top of me chocking me and holding me down. I could not move. I could not scream. I could not breathe. This was it. I thought I was being killed by something I couldn't even see. I finally screamed and my husband ran in and scared whatever was holding because I could finally move. Next I moved out and have never felt, heard or seen any ghost.

I lived on Virginia St long ago and everyone would see a guy with a Raiders jersey, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers jump from one end of the door to the other as if trying to hide. My dad thought at one point I had snuck a guy in my room. Submitted by anonymous

York st .. Every night since we've moved here there has been a child running around upstairs between two and three in the morning every night. So I asked the neighbor upstairs who's an older gentleman, does anyone live with him, maybe a child, and does he hear anything at night. He says no, he lives there by himself and I've never seen a kid up there before..
