Living in Visalia, I've had a few ''encounters,'' but one in specific that had left me chilled was at the old CVS that's currently closed near the Food4less and the Panda Express by my house. I was maybe about 12 or 13, and I had gone over to one of my friend's house. We had gotten hungry, so we decided to get chicken and rice, so me and my friend left our other friend's house (since she couldn't leave) and said we'd get some things to drink and eat.
We walked to the CVS by using the land of dirt behind the wall separating all the little stores from the houses and walked in. My friend had to go to the bathroom but was scared to be by herself, so I waited faced the other direction. She was trying to leave the bathroom as fast as she could because she had seen a woman sitting down with a little boy, and her purse resting near the toilet. She freaked out, and we went to the drinks, and she asked the cashier if they've had anything like that happen before. They both looked at each other scared, and we walked out and back across the chunk of dirt.
This time we were going straight instead of turning, so we would end up going towards the other side of the cul-de-sac where the chicken and rice lady was at. Mid way me and my friend were just talking about the situation when a woman who appeared to be somewhere around her mid 20s-30s just appeared right behind us almost touching us. (We were the only ones walking down the chunk of dirt, and nobody was behind us). The lady claimed to have been new to the area and was asking a bunch of personal questions. My friend had a scared look on her face and was lying to the lady telling her we were sisters and that we were the same age, but that we were just trying to go home.
The lady kept following us until my friend had told her our house was around the corner. As soon as we turned, the lady then disappeared in thin air. My friend had said that was the exact same lady from the bathroom that she saw. We both got scared. We got the food and walked back to our other friend's house. When we got there her doors were wide opened, and she was gone. We found her a few hours later wandering around the streets looking for us. Till this day we never forget about what happened in the old CVS.
