The other night my back door flew open with such an enormous force behind it. Of course I jumped up only to see a dark shadow standing in the doorway. Stunned I could not move, I didn't even want to breath, my heart was pounding so hard I thought it would jump from my chest.
I am not sure how long I sat there when the door slowly shut on it's own. With a sigh of relief, and when finally I mustered up enough courage to check, the door was locked... Just as I had left it earlier.

One summer almost everyday I would witness a fiery ball fly through the house and burst through my bedroom wall. When I would touch the wall it would be hot. On evening my stepdaughter had a friend staying over, they were in her room.
The friend was sitting against the door when the fiery ball made it's way down the hall pushing the door open tossing the friend across the floor. On another occasion I laid down for just minute when I felt someone tugging at my toe.
Thinking it was one of the kids I looked up to see an elderly man standing at the foot of my bed with his hand extended out to me. .
