Many many years ago my friend lived on some property owned by a dentist whose wife practiced witchcraft and had performed various rituals on the property. The dentist had been a really nice guy, his wife on the other hand was rather dark and didn't say anything to anyone.

She had two black dogs (dobies I think and gave us all dirty looks). The owner had a few tenants living in cottages and houses on the land. After the owner's unexpected sudden death all kinds of odd things began to happen.

There'd be loud knocking in his car port, foot steps on the porch or in the house and no one but us would be there. One day we got back from running some errands. I thought my friend's son was still asleep in the bedroom so I sad ''hi x we're home! '' we both heard a grumbling sound and then laughed because I thought I'd woke him up.
We both looked in the bedroom and it was empty. We put our shopping stuff down and left again and didn't return until later. Kind of felt uneasy there after that. Not sure what was there but it could have been anything, especially with the witchy rituals that were done there.
