When we first moved in, we, my siblings and I witnessed a doll used for ventriloquism walk through our hallway while we were inside my old room which is now a guest room. The doll vanished and hasn't been seen since.

I recently uploaded a story for West Covina, but now I'm going to tell you about my experience at a house my parents were renting while in high school. I moved to Hacienda Heights, CA up in the hills. Ironically, and as crazy as it sounds which I doubt almost everyone will doubt, but I had a paranormal encounter happen on Halloween evening. My house was on the hill, so to get up there it would take a while, and you'd have to hike up or go by car or walk and become tired lol.

I wanted to spray my hair with a color hair spray, so I took out my generic long body mirror into the backyard, put it up against the side of the house and my back facing the forest/trees. As I was spraying, I had this overwhelming feeling and not because it was Halloween because I absolutely love Halloween, but the feeling of being watched in a focused goal like intentional. It felt personal, so I stopped spraying my hair and looked at myself in the mirror; I know typical girl move. I looked at the forest through the mirror, and then I saw it.

At first it looked faint or translucent. At first I thought it was my eyes seeing things, but I turned around and its eyes were so dark and such in a hold; nothing could make it lose its focus on me. I still thought it was my imagination trying to be rational. When I started walking toward it trying to distinguish that it was just the trees formation that's making me think it's a figure. I got maybe ten feet away from it, and it wasn't my imagination this looked like a demon. I told you it sounds BS, but it's not! I could see the features of the face. The body was black like it wore a drape and old pants, and I could see the leaves through the body. That's when I ran. Right before I ran as soon as my eyes looked up from the torso to the face, it smirked at me. It was the creepiest thing like it knew it freaked me out. It knew I knew it was there.
At first when I walked closer I thought it was some Peeping Tom in a mask, but it wasn't. I wish it was. I remember telling my dad, and I was so scared to go back home because my room faced the forest! We have that attic thing just before the bedroom, and I always would run because I would find it open sometimes, and the restroom was so dark. I'm so glad we moved from there! The house was on Colima Road up from Hacienda Blvd.
