I grew up in a house in West Hills where I had heard many rumors of death. The three main ones (one of which I was at home for) was when the man across the street from me died, a guy got hit by a car right behind our house, and that a nearby hill was a popular location for suicide and cultist stuff. I remember the day the man across the street died. I was one of the few people on the street who talked to him.
One time I had taken a photo of a sketch I was doing for a school assignment. I took a photo with just a little bit of my staircase showing in the upper left corner. When I looked I could make out a shadow of a person at the top of the staircase. They were holding onto the rail and just looking down at me. (I was sitting right across from the staircase.)
The next night I heard footsteps from outside my bedroom which happens to be the room the shadow was standing in front of. A few days later I got a dizzy spell while walking up the stairs. To this day I have no idea who the ghost was at the top of staircase, but I'm more than sure I want to find out.
