Comment by Rick: Give the ashes a proper burial on consecrated ground. Say a prayer that having found peace at last. He may now find his loved ones who have been patiently waiting for him in the light.

I have been reading some of the articles submitted here and I am not surprised by any of them-- I lived in Whittier California several years ago and have had experiences in two different houses that I lived in and a place where I worked which was built on part of Rose Hills Cemetery.

And even an experience when I visited the main mausoleum at Rose Hills. Then an experience with a phantom dog while driving down the street on which a park was erected on the site of an old burial ground. Whittier I found was a hotbed of activity mostly because of the widespread range of Rose Hills Cemetery and due to some areas were at one time maybe burial grounds that were claimed and used for other uses.
One experience that I will reveal from among my experiences was one that involved my visit to the mausoleum at Rose Hills:
