I have lived in Whittier off and on for my entire life. I moved back to Whittier last year and moved into an old home located on Greenleaf ave. It is a duplex and I moved upstairs. All was fine until 6 months ago.
I started to notice what looked like a person walking by me in the corner of my eye. I would turn quickly and nothing would be there? Later I started to hear footsteps in the hallway. On one occasion I turned quickly and saw a woman with grey hair in her late 60's staring at me.

I walked towards her with a puzzled look because I thought she was human and I had no idea what she was doing here. She disappeared before my eyes. Needless to say I was pretty shaken by the experience.

My cats seem to really like her. I often see them brushing up against something and purring as though they were being petted yet nothing is there. Oddly I feel she looks after us and am unafraid of here.
I'm curious when she will next appear to me.
