An occasional train whistle blows any time of the day or night. It's rare but sometimes one can hear a train passing. We actually don't have train tracks in the area. My neighbors have also heard it. Submitted by Blanca

In 2004 we moved from a house in Murrieta to a new home in Wildomar bordering Murrieta. The first year we lived here things were quiet. Or at least we hadn't noticed anything other than orbs in the photos taken inside the house.
|
Gradually over time though I'd hear odd noises like pacing in the halls or someone walking around upstairs. But I'd always assume that the house was settling or maybe the pacing late at night was our dog.
|
The pacing would start near my daughters room then head toward our bedroom door. After a while I began to realize it was a constant occurrence so I would look for our dog, then see he was asleep near our bed.
Hmm. Time passed on and a hall light began to come on after 10:30 pm. No one had turned it on. It would flicker then stay lit. I thought maybe the kids were messing with the lights. Then one day one of my daughters said that she could make the light come on. She'd say ''turn on the light! '' and the light would turn on. I freaked out. And then tried it myself and it did. We began to notice that if the kids walked up the stairs the lights would flicker.
