My parents moved to Winchester, CA in 1964. We had a brand new double wide mobile home. As a kid growing up, I was never comfortable there . I felt as if I was being watched. We sold the place to a family friend in 1973 and moved to Hemet. Soon after the woman moved her boyfriend in. One day her daughter called from school in Hemet and was ill. The boyfriend picked her up, took her home, and then brutally murdered her in the main bathroom. Later that evening

he picked up her brother from ball practice only to take him home to a dark house letting him find his murdered sister. He was arrested and convicted

of first degree murder and sent to prison. I just new as a kid something wasn't right, and then this! It is and has been occupied since. Haddock Street in Winchester, CA.

Comment by Chris: Was this mobile directly across the street from Winchester School? I remember this I was friends with the boy whose little sister was murdered. Is the same mobile still there?.
Comment by Dave: The girl that was murdered there in the bathroom was my girlfriend's best friend. She was 16, not 8 or 9 years old.
