I lived in Wrightwood from the age of 7 to 14 (between 1971 to 79). In my opinion, the whole swartout Valley (wrightwood) is haunted. For it's small population, many tragedies have occurred in the swarthout Valley -- particularly accidental deaths of children and teens (i.
E.. Self inflicted gun shot wounds and car/motorcycle accidents). I saw and heard many things there that I would rather not describe. I sometimes wonder if the swarthout Valley was used as a burial ground or sacred area by the yuharetum (serrano Indian tribe) that lived in san Gabriel mountains.
