He told people of a strange beast that walked on two legs that was stealing his food and killing his dogs. Then he went missing, nobody could find him, he just vanished from the area leaving everything as it was the day he vanished. Several years went by, nobody knew anything of his relatives and they had nobody to prove he was dead.
The land was sold and loggers came in to cut out a patch of timber and they found a human skull up in the top of

an old stump about 12 ft up in the air. Then they found the rest of his body scattered about a leg up on another stump, his ribs and shoulders gnawed

upon found on another stump. No dogs were ever found either. It is said that Hairy The Monster killed him and he still lurks in that area to this day...Watching all who enter his domain.

Walking Tom was a man who lived out on the dikes in Clatskanie, Oregon. He would walk everywhere he went. Often times he would be seen picking up cans and bottles people had thrown out of their vehicle, littering the dikes. He was an odd guy, but genuinely nice.
