Comment by Finn: I've been in that house lots of times day and night and saw nothing. I knew several people who used to live there Herman and Charlie Erickson were living there in the early 60s and had a boat dock and slip there on the beaver slough.
I caught my first trout there as a youngster off their dock.

I live in the house directly across the beaver slough from the reported ''old abandoned house on the creepy dikes of Clatskanie'' and have been inside that abandoned house on several occasions. At some time prior to 1990 this house did indeed have some so-called satanic worshipers that met there, however, the extent of the so-called rituals was a pentagram drawn on the floor and a shelf with some moss, a saucer and odd bits of material etc.

There was never a torturing, a hanging, or a sacrifice of any human being. ''walking tom'' mentioned in the story above was never married nor had any children. Tragically he drowned in a ditch that connects to the beaver slough approximately 1000 yards from the abandoned house in the late 1990's.
It is very possible that a person might see him walking along the railroad tracks or perhaps one of the nearby roads picking up bottles and cans as he did so often when he was alive.

Comment by Finn: At no time were there any satanic rituals performed in the old Herman and Charlie Ericson home. There was graffiti painted on the walls by kids who went there to party. I first visited there in the early 1960s when Herman and Charlie Ericson were alive and living there then again in the 70s when some local hippies moved in and lived there a while.
