I don't expect anyone to believe me. I'm not sure what I believe myself because what I experienced shouldn't exist. I'm noticing a lot of reports about Lincoln City or Newport or Astoria, but Depoe Bay is the area where I had something very unsettling take place.
I used to live in a small apartment in Depoe Bay. I would go visit my friend who lived in a house just down the hill. There would be noises throughout the house all the time. I'd hear footsteps,

but no one would be there. Little things. It was after I moved back to Salem that something major happened.
I had driven up to Otter Rock (just

south of Depoe Bay) to enjoy the view with my friend, Lee. We had just stepped out of the car when she asked me ''what's that?'' I was looking out to sea and had no idea what she was talking about. It was around 4-5pm, clear skies, and still light out, but it was starting to get dim with the sun setting past the horizon. I looked over at her confused. I asked ''what's what?''
''THAT!'' She pointed up at the hill behind me across Highway 101. I
