I live on the corner of Waite and Royal currently. When I moved in with my kids and boyfriend we heard pounding. It was extreme. It would wake us up out of a dead sleep for nights and nights. I contacted the landlord, and he told me to call the cops, but I am not going to call on a ghost. I was terrified, so I prayed. After a few times of praying it stopped. Comment by Deena: Hi I also live on the same street. My family has noted for years that no-one stays in that duplex for very long. Usually it takes about 3 months. Thank-you for sharing! I know the land-lord and I am going to ask him about it!.

Comment by Di: Waite off Royal, I've heard several stories in the last 25 years since I moved into this area. I live over by Willamette High. But have known and know several people with in a block south of that street or behind or in front of..
Anyway it has been quietly talked about that I know of off and on over the years. It has become the consensus of most that know about it that we believe that the haunting comes from the land. There are a small percentage that believe that those couple of places that are haunted come from the houses.
My best advice to you is get paranormal research team in there find out what is happening and then go from there.
