We had just moved into our new house. Though I feel like I have always been very open to spirits around me, I felt at peace during our move-in. There was nothing out of the ordinary. My boyfriend would shortly start his new job and would be gone during the day, so I started to unpack and personalize our space.
One morning as I was coming down the hallway, I turned to the kitchen, and there was a dark figure in the corner of the window above

the sink. I thought someone was peeking through our window. I called my boyfriend immediately, and he came rushing home to find no one. There were no
|
signs of a break-in to our backyard. We let it go.
It happened again a few days later, and just like the last time there was no one in our backyard. When I saw it I would go to the window, and it would disappear to the side of the window and out of sight. After a few times of calling my boyfriend to come to inspect, I started to feel that what I was seeing was not human or alive. I just stopped looking out that window, in hopes I would just forget
