I'm not sure which is worse; being attacked by the Hillside Strangler's (Kenneth Bianchi & Angelo Buono) in Topanga Canyon in 1978 or of being attacked by a grotesque forest ghoul on Hope Mountain near Takilma, Oregon in 1979! I saw a ghost of a guy named Billy Cole that died from an overdose of meth in a cabin in Kerby, Oregon. I'm convinced that I have an unseen guardian angel.
Many years ago I used to visit my Aunt Blanche Sexton McAllister

while she was in an elderly nursing home in Grants Pass, Oregon. She was the wife of my Great Uncle Archie McAllister; Mount Sexton located just north

of Grants Pass (Hugo, Oregon area) was named after her family: David and Caroline Sexton, early settler's during the Rogue Indian Wars of the 1850's of south west Oregon. David fought and killed many Indians during the era.
Anyway, Archie and Blanche were gold miners living in the Applegate Valley. Each time I'd visit Blanche she'd ramble on to me about her life experiences in the ''Old Days''. She'd lived most of her life in a small mining cabin
