no-one around in sight, not even any sound of birds.
I tied Bear up short to a small bush at the corner of the family plot. I got down on my knees and was gently pulling the small weeds from between Frank's grave and David/Caroline's; Bear was sitting facing me just to my right in front of me about two feet away. Bear was a very gentle natured dog and quite affectionate towards people, a very mellow dog.
All of a sudden Bear became extremely
|
upset and hostile, violently barking at something that must've been directly behind me, he had thick white foam coming out of his mouth! He was trying
|
to protect me! Believe me I turned to look behind me and I looked around scoping out the cemetery to see no one, no dogs, no cats, nothing behind me or anywhere in sight. Bear just kept on like he could see something that I could not! I was scared, but I did my best to remain calm and tried to calm Bear down as I slowly untied his leash from the bush.
It was strange, but I didn't want whatever it was that Bear was seeing to know that I was afraid.
