When I was 20 in 1996 I lived with my 2 1 / 2 year old son in the R.V. Garden Apartments. My apartment was always clean but for some reason I remember it being exceptionally clean that night and very quiet.
My son was upstairs for a moment and had been playing with his toy's. I heard his footsteps coming down the stairs and then I heard him say ''stop'' no mommy, mommy! . I was facing the stove at the time stirring whatever I was cooking.

I turned my head slightly while still stirring and my son was already in the kitchen screaming climbing up my back. I could not even turn around to get him before he had pulled my pants slightly down and was strangling me with my shirt trying to climb up me.

I reached around and pulled him to the front of me as I did he kept screaming she pulled my hair, and tried to push me off of the stairs, she's there, she's there! . I said where? Who? What? It's okay momma has you and you are safe.
Who pulled your hair who pushed you? Show me. He pointed towards the stairs and said that girl, she's there. I was coming down the stairs and she tried to push me down, and she wouldn't stop pulling my hair.
As I tried to walk up the stairs for him to show me he wouldn't even let me out of the kitchen first then he tried to hold on to the railing then he tried to escape from my arms when he finally did he grasped on to me and said he didn't want to go up the stairs.
