I couldn't leave him there so I picked him up and held him close. I said it was okay and that I would not let anyone hurt him. I said nobody is here see... I felt brave for some reason. Or not scared.
But I was perplexed he was two. I did not know what to think. I showed him my room and his room. He pointed to the stairs and said she was there and that she was gone now. He seemed to calm down with my grasp on him and my words.

the stairs I didn't reach the last two steps before my neighbor was banging on the door shaking my doo r handle. When I opened the door with my son still

in my arms she had her 2 year old in her arms and had pushed her way through me into my apartment crying and screaming that a ghost was attacking her daughter.
To not make her go home. I said a ghost was just here. We both laughed in disbelief as well as cried. We all four hugged for a minute. She said her daughter was sitting on the opposite side of the couch and kept saying stop it.
She said it about four times and my neighbor said.. ''what?
