to locate the Sexton Family Plot. I was somewhat familiar with the area, so I took the ''Merlin'' off-ramp, drove to the traffic signal, turned right onto Monument Drive towards Hugo in the direction of Mount Sexton.
I knew where Pleasant Valley Road was because I'd made numerous visits over many months time to the ''Pottsville Museum - the Home of Oregon Memories'' in attending club meetings of the ''South West Oregon Mining Association''.

My brother David McAllister was the President of SWOMA, and I was the Secretary-Treasurer. I just wasn't sure where and how to get to the cemetery. I

parked my car at a wide spot along the road in close proximity to the intersection of these two roads.
I had my dog ''Bear'' (black Labrador/Rottweiler cross) along with me. We got out of the car and walked a short distance up a trail through the small shrub oaks and dry weeds looking for any signs of old grave markers in this area. It was a fairly hot summer day and we were thirsty; we turned back and walked back down the draw back to the car. I continued
