We went camping at Mack's Canyon and experienced the most terrifying encounter with spirits. We heard voices and chanting around our car. Then there was this wave of current that came from the river into the car freezing us. The car radio turned on, and the windshield wipers went off. Our phones started glitching, and then the lights in the car went off.
My friend got scratched, and we both were paralyzed in all of this for what felt like hours.

I highly recommend staying here at all costs. We drove 4 hours back home in the middle of the night. As we were leaving, two deer almost hit our car.

We had never had anything like this ever happen to us and we're both very shaken for months after.
I repeat. Do not go camping at Mack's Canyon. There is some dark history there and many other beautiful spots along the Deschutes River.
