breaking in. I ran to turn on porch lights to check, and no one was there. There were entire sounds like moving in the doorway as well. At first I assumed it was one of the kids, but upon inspection no one was awake but me. No one was on the porch, and there was no robber hiding in the entry closet. All I can think of is this might be a residual haunting that plays over and over again each night.

Thirty years ago or more I was a small child. My family and I lived in a small two-bedroom house on SE Alder Street in Hillsboro. It was the most haunted place you could imagine. Every night the activity from the spirits or ghosts would carry on. I have always been taught the dead cannot hurt you, but something about the old lady spirit in that home tells me otherwise. I often pass by that house, and I can't help but wonder if it is still as haunted. I know one thing for certain; I will never step foot in that house. I am certain the old lady was evil. She would be seen in the day time and appear as you or I do. She was not see-through or didn't carry chains and ropes. She looked like us but had very evil vibes about her. I obviously believe in ghosts, but that house is one house that I believe the ghosts are of a very evil kind.

I grew up in an older house on 11th and Main that my family, I, and many of our friends had paranormal experience in. Living here for 21 years, I could go on about tales of experiences that still haunt me a decade later. I will highlight the main ones.
The Black Feet: The black feet were these shadow feet that numerous friends saw during sleepovers when I was 8-11. During this time many of the neighbor girls would come over, and we would make a huge bed in the living room, so we could watch TV and hang out together. Late at night it would not be uncommon for two or three of the girls to wake up screaming because black shadow feet would walk across my kitchen floor (visible from our living room). This resulted in many of my friends refusing to sleepover.
