There are a number of places in Hillsboro and in its outlying areas. One of the restaurants has the ghost of my father's friend who crashed his plane there in a lover's quarrel. The old high school (now demolished) had a male student who haunted the girl's dressing room. The Hill Theatre was a Vaudeville style theatre, where one of the lead actors passed in the dressing room. The Town Theater has the ghost of an usher. There are 3 pioneer cemeteries that claim ghosts. In the outer areas, look to the old bars (the area was rough and tumble, and more than one gunfight was recorded) as well as one of the scarier places being the old asylum in forest grove. It should be noted that one of the largest death tolls happened in 1918 in a train wreck just at the old Carnation building.

I was walking the train tracks over here between the two graveyards off west Main Street with a couple friends. As we were coming up on Main Street one of my friends (Rick) and I saw this full body running toward the tracks, but it was solid black from head to toe.
It seemed to be running from someone or something. It look back once and continued to run for the track. As soon as it hit the middle of the tracks it vanished.
