In the summer of 2010 I was visiting Hood River with my family. We stayed at a hotel one night. I was always in love with ghost stories and my dad had mentioned the hotel was said to be haunted.
When we got in we found out we were assigned in hotel room that was pet friendly but my step mom was allergic to animals so we asked if we could move rooms. The receptionist told us that she could put us in the nicest suite for free.
We were assigned room 319

(which adds to 13... ) that night on the way to dinner we overheard a disruption that some Oregon ghost hunters had come for the room but we were already

staying there. That night I fell asleep in a pull out chair.
I heard heavy steps that slowly circled me. I was too scared to open my eyes but suddenly I was burning hot and sweating. Finally I opened my eyes to no one in the room and it was 2:16 am. That morning when we were leaving we overheard that there were reports of the former owner making an ''appearance'' on the 3rd floor between 2-3 am.
