My Parents bought a new house in 1978 off of Gun Club Rd. My dad converted the storage room into a fourth bedroom, which became my room. Nightly I was visited by a ghost that would sit on my bed next to me. At first, when I saw the blankets move down my arm and felt the weight of the ''spirit'' sitting next to me, I was really freaked out. When I told my family about the experiences I was having nightly, they would explain it away saying it was my imagination.

One day, my grandfather came to visit us and I know he experienced the ghost sitting on the bed because he asked my mom that the cat kept him up that night by jumping up on the bed and laying down next to him. I think my mom, at that time, knew what I was trying to tell her was true because we didn't have a cat or any other animal for that matter.

A few months later after moving in, the activity started moving through the house. My sister and I were home alone baking cookies in the kitchen, when the toilet downstairs flushed. Little things like this and facets turning on happened as well as personal items being relocated in a different part of the house, knowing we didn't put them there.
When I was a teenager, I made the most insane and stupid mistake by making a ouija board to try and contact Beth, this is the name I gave the ghost that resided in our house, and that is when everything turned really bad!
In August 1987, it was my parents 25th Anniversary and they left for a cruise. My Aunts and cousins and I started playing the ouija board. I asked what the spirit's name is, what year they died, how they died. The board spelled out....... Elizabeth, she died in the 1800's by her father's hands on the property our house sat on. We kept asking questions and she kept on answering.
