When I was 7 8 years old I lived in Jacksonville in the childhood home of bozo the clown. My parents were warned by the landlords about bozo's grandmother haunting the house. My parents disregarded the warning and didn't tell me about it.
I had the bedroom downstairs my parents' room was upstairs. Soon after my parents would go upstairs to sleep I would always hear someone outside my bedroom walking around. That scared me quite enough but then it got

much stranger when the light fixture on my bedroom ceiling would disappear into the ceiling when I'd be trying to fall asleep.
After this happened

a few times I refused to sleep in there and slept in my parents' room every night. We moved out 6 months later and that's when my parents shared with me their stories which they had kept from me not wanting to frighten me further.
My dad had once been taking a nap and woke up to what he thought was my mom laying down next to him when he turned to her my mom wasn't there at all but the perfect indentation of someone lying right next to him was.
