I could not believe it - this was not possible. Someone helped me whether it was a ghost or a guardian angel but in my time of need he was there. Now when I travel on highway 97 I tell the story of the man that helped me out

Comment by L.H.: This story reminds me of a gas station off of 97 (the garage is not there anymore.) I remember as a kid we would stop there, and the man's name was Pete . He always had a smile and would give all us kids coca cola or a silver dollar. I wonder if this could have been Pete that helped out.

Comment by anonymous: Sorry how did Pete look? Did he wear overalls? Kind eyes, messy, hay colored hair, gentle skin was light yet a sweet honey tan from the sun.. ?.
